In my first semester, I didn't slack off but maintained the diligence from high school. I usually spent two hours studying at night and went to the classroom for autonomous learning. The difference is that I have a variety of extracurricular activities. For instance, I regularly attended the English Corner on Tuesday nights, where I could practice my spoken English and make friends with like-minded individuals.
Besides, I joined the Student Union of my department. With a team of hardworking and supportive colleagues, it felt like a big, warm family where we shared our lives. During various activities, I realized the importance of teamwork, which helps us move forward.
Finally, college is a great stage for students to grow and showcase their abilities. I gained more understanding of our society and broadened my horizons. I realized I'm not only a student but also an adult preparing to step into society.

With expectations, I embarked on my journey at Zhejiang Gongshang University. Generally speaking, it's an interesting and fantastic place for us to study and live. Moreover, whenever time and weather permitted, I enjoyed jogging or playing basketball with my classmates on the playground, feeling tired yet happy. When it came to studying, hardships never discouraged me; instead, they motivated me. Instead of ignoring them, I pondered carefully and sought help from my classmates.
To be honest, there were some things I didn't handle well. For instance, once I spent almost an entire day playing computer games. Personally, as university students, we are already adults, and it's our responsibility to develop ourselves by acquiring new professional skills.
