Should students surf the Internet?
Today our class had a heated discussion about whether we should surfthe Internet or not. The

is our

60 percent of students think that it’s good for
students
to
surf
the
net.
First
of
all,

Internet
can
provide

us
with

a
great
diversity
of

interesting information.
Moreover,
Internet can
help
us
to
broaden
our
horizon
,
improve
our
communication
skills
and
make
us
keep
on
knowing
the outside world.
However
,
there
are
40%
of
the
students
who

disagree with it. In their opinion, Internet has
some
disadvantages.
For
example,
if
you

spend
too
much
time
on
the
net,
it
will
do
great damage to
your eyes which
are likely to
be
weakened.
Furthermore
,
you
tend
to
be
mentally addicted to
playing online games for
they are very
attractive
.
Of course, every coin has two sides. As far as I
am
concerned,
the Internet
is
of
great
use

for
students
to
deal
with
their
study.
It’s
Ok
to
leave
the Internet
on
so long as we are using it
for our study, if not, turn it off! So, I think
it is

due
to
the
correct
use
of
the
Internet
that

we
can
live a
healthy and meaningful
life
