我的寒假
The winter holiday is coming. Iam going to finish doing my homework as soon as possibel so that I can spend some time reviewing my lessons and preparing the new lessons. I am going to visit my grandparents and spend a week with them. I will help my parents do some housework and do the shopping because my parents work hard every day. I will go skiing and skating with my parents,too. I am sure i will have a happy and meaningful winte holiday.
我最喜欢的节日
Of all the festival I like the Spring Festival best because it comes during the winter holiday so I have lots of time to do whatever I want. Spring Festival is one of the most important festivals in China. When it comes, I usually clean our house from top to bottom. I go shopping with my parents and buy lots of food and present. My parents and relatives always give me lucky money during the holiday. I often go skiing , watch lion dance and set up fireworks during the festiva. I always have a good time so Spring Festival is my favourite.
我最喜欢的食物
My favorite food is dumplings. I like all kinds of dumplings such as dumplings with meat, vegetables, shamp and so on. I think dumplings are delicious and they are good for my health. I often make dumplings with my parents on weekends.2011-01-18

My Favourite Festival
Spring Festival, the most important Chinese traditional festival, is my favorite. It brings the whole family together and ushers us into a brandly new year.
What attracts me most about Spring Festival is the thick atmosphere it brings about, during which children play with various safty fireworks and festive adornments are being decorated on trees and walls along the street. Being in such a happy environment you can't help feeling warmth and pleasure. Besides the atmosphere, I love the gathering together of a big family. My parents keep working in other cities far away from the hometown and you can say the Spring Festival is the only oppotunity for the whole family to get together. And we can see relatives and friends who we wanted to see but for many reasons we didn't. Spring Festival is a time of happiness and comfort without study or work.
In a word, Spring Festival is a time for relax and pleasure, which I like best.
